Following the 2026 General Assembly, the Paulist Fathers invite members of Paulist ministries, Paulist Associates, Deacon Affiliates, and all who share in our mission to reflect together on the charism, spirituality, and mission of the Missionary Society of St. Paul the Apostle.
The Assembly’s Charism, Spirituality, and Mission report names a shared center for the Society: Paulists as missionaries of hope, rooted in attentiveness to the Holy Spirit and sent to reach the peripheries, build bridges across division, and awaken the missionary vocation of all the baptized.
This discussion guide is designed to help each person reflect both personally and communally on the report, whether in a staff meeting, a Paulist Associates gathering, a small group, or in personal prayer.
The discussion guide includes an opening prayer and ten discussion questions organized around the report’s three central themes. Feel free to use or adapt the questions in any way that makes sense for those gathered.
